Sorry, I don't understand how does coocking work.
But it's an original idea for the theme!
No need to be sorry! It is quite confusing!
On the left of the screen (or on the right for player 2) there is a list of recipes. For each recipe there will be two or three icons that show you what ingredients have to go in the cauldron to make that recipe. If an ingredient has to be chopped before you put it in the cauldron, there will be a knife icon below it. If an ingredient has to be smashed before you put it in the cauldron, there will be a hammer icon below it.
I hope that helps? If not don't worry! Thanks for trying it out anyway and for the feedback :D
I had some problems figuring out how to follow the recipe and also struggled a little with controls because the character moves very fast and it is hard to select precisely a place on the table.
I really liked the music and graphics.
Nice job!
Thank you for the feedback! The music is by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). I agree placement is hard, even when I had the character slower it can still be a bit finicky. Thank you again for the praise and feedback :D
I really like the concept and the music, though it's a bit hard to figure out the instructions. Would it be possible to add it to the description box?
Thanks a lot! Music is by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). I took your suggestion about putting the instructions in the description box, but I agree they are confusing. If I make a post jam version of the game I want to make a proper tutorial. Thanks for the feedback :D
controls and execution were somewhat wonky however the idea is a great one. I would lvoe to see this idea after a little bit of polish and enhancement!
Great job!
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, I think it would have been way better if I had set up the controls to use console controllers or something. I might try to make a post-jam version, so it's nice that some people might want to see it! Thanks again :D
I don't have anyone to play this with but I think the idea and execution are fantastic! great job!
Thank you very much! I did try to implement an AI, but fortunately I couldn't debug it in time. Thanks for the feedback though :D
Hi all! My game is not as well made as I would have liked it to have been, so if anyone has trouble figuring out what to do or how to play just let me know and I'll be happy to help :D
