Biggest issue I have with this game that I see a lot of Indie Horror developers do is making the game way to dark you can barely see anything even when your holding the lamp. Heavy use of darkness does not make a game scary, it ends up just being an annoyance to the players.
I'm still recovering from the spider thing encounter, god, I jumped so hard...
