Love games that can be played both as singleplayer and as coop. Cool design, the idea is executed brilliantly, and the levels are good at teaching you the mechanics then escalating complexity.
We need more games like this! I played on my own, which works suprisingly well, would work great on a controller, one character with one stick and the jump and grab be bumber and trigger, like Brother: a tale of two sons. Really impressive for a 48 hour jam, especially with the amount of charm and aesthetic put in. Great game!
I've played this game alone and also co-op. Of course the co-op version ist the most enjoyable one, because you need to rely on the other player and communicate, wich leads to funny and very challenging moments. But as single player you brain has to do the work of two players which is fun and challenging too. The map is "big", build up the difficulty slowly and has the checkpoints at the right spots.
For an 48h game jam game is this brilliant! Keep it up!!!!
Thank you! We tried to follow as many of the GMTK design principles as we could, so we stuck with just the one mechanic and explored it as much as possible (within the time limit) and tried to make sure everything has a proper tutorial and build up. I'm glad you noticed! :D

I love this on so many levels. I played by myself but this obviously works as a co-op game. The deep voiced monkey is hilarious every time he emotes. The tone/atmosphere of the game was honestly perfect.
Legitimately my only gripe was that I had to use CTRL keys and couldn't use Shift.

I applaud you, it's a brilliant idea for a game, I think, it should be fully developed and released on all platforms, there's a lack of fun single-display cooperative games. Good luck.

Awesome game with an amazing art style. This should have WAY more ratings. Reminds me a lot of Unraveled Two, and that's a great thing.
This will sound bad, but I didn't know Unravel had a coop sequel ':D I think I'll give it a play and see how it compares :)
