Game feels solid. Which is a rare thing on a gamejam.
Good job!
thankyou that means a lot. I try to spend the majority of my dev time on the game movement
Sick game dude! I had a ton of fun, one of the better executed and original ideas I've seen so far
I liked the little corridor where you're jumping twice as fast but still to the beat ^^ lot of potential!
Thanks, I'm happy to hear so much positive feedback from this jam!
I really like the idea of the game and I think it has a lot of potential. The music is nice to listen to and the presentation gets the job done (sometimes the cube blends in with the background, but nothing serious). The only issue I had is that the jumping feels inconsistent, I can't really tell why, but there were times where I could swear that the cube was supposed to jump, but nothing happened.
Good job though, fun game!
i agree with you on the inconsistent jumping. I think what youre feeling is the beat in the song playing just before youre on the ground. I'll try toying around with the gravity and the timing of the jumps. Thank-you for the feedback!
I'm a simple man : I hear synthwave, I press like.
Jokes apart, the game is quite rough, but functionnal. Nice job ^^
Synthwave, you and me both.
It is pretty rough, i only had a few hours to participate in the jam because of work. I may polish it up a bit though, i think the concept has potential.
Thank-you for playing it btw!
Simple concept, but it turns out being really fun! My only real qualm with it is that the yellow cube blends in with the yellow background which can make certain sections very frustrating.
Yes I agree. The "art style" was a bit rushed, that's why some of it looks a bit rough. I wasn't expecting to get feedback, thankyou!
