This was a pleasure to play through! There are some minor bugs, but the puzzles are creative and require some actual thinking

I've really enjoyed this one, the idea is amazing, the visuals are great and it's overall fun to play. It's also probably the only game where I don't mind the bugs, just because they're so cute here :D

This was a very fun game to play through. I especially like how the player gets new abilities as he grinds, so you always have to learn something new.

The audio and visual work is great! Shame that the traps sometimes do not appear, but I still had fun playing it!

What an awesome idea. I never thought I would enjoy playing as a mosquito!

I absolutely adore the story! What a great concept!

Nice concept! It definitely has potential for expanding on it!

Wow, thank you for such detailed feedback and advice! I'm definitely going to try some of your suggestions, I agree that movement doesn't feel that great and I will definitely try to improve it!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll definitely look into improving the movement!

I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the kind words :)

Thank you for the feedback, I'll definitely have to smooth it out a bit :D

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the kind words! I'll definitely try to improve the movement in the future :)

Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely look into the movement more!

I have my cookies locked up, you can't have them!

In all seriousness, pretty nice fun game that fits the theme nicely.

There were some minor bugs, like not being able to move right away or the character sprites having white background, but nothing major or gamebreaking.

I hope it gets expanded upon after the jam, because the potential is great.

Good job!

It's absolutely fine. I quess that it can be a bit nerve wracking to post a game, but you can get some more confidence, because you deserve it! Hope you are doing fine!

Aww, that's a shame :(

I really like the idea and the game is very fun. Presentation is simple, but gets the job done. I only wish I could somehow switch between the items in my inventory.

Very fun game, good job!

I love this. The idea is great, the gameplay is fun and the presentation is also beautiful. Things also get out of control very quickly. I only wish that it would last a bit longer and also I would also love at least some way of managing the breeding (maybe rooms to the house and the cats would be able to mate only with cats in the same room).

Really great game!

The game is really fun. The concept is simple, but effective and it all just works. The adorable graphics and charcter design help as well. The only thing I would point out is the lack of any audio (or maybe it just didn't work for me), but overall, really good job!

P.S.: Unfortunately I didn't have the will to finish it, I basically ragequit after I fell down from a high place.

Similar experience as the previous players here. The game looks reall good and I love the idea, but the game is really hard (starts at level 8 for some reason) and the controls are not explained really well. It's a shame, because the game is there and looks fun, but sadly I have no idea how to play it.

I really like the idea of the game and I think it has a lot of potential. The music is nice to listen to and the presentation gets the job done (sometimes the cube blends in with the background, but nothing serious). The only issue I had is that the jumping feels inconsistent, I can't really tell why, but there were times where I could swear that the cube was supposed to jump, but nothing happened.

Good job though, fun game!

Yeah and the Discord invitation sadly doesn't work for me, maybe it's expired or something?

Alright, here are some bugs I noticed after messing around in the Sandbox for a while:

1) If you time it right, you can jump off the water before it kills you

2) Sometimes when I hang myself on a wall, I am unable to move sideways or vault over the top of the wall. I think it happens when I'm near the corner of the wall, but not sure.

3) Sometimes after a jump my character won't grab onto the wall at all - that might be purely my fault though, maybe I was too far away.

Also, do you plan on making the game slow and methodical or fast and about reflexes? Just curious, because the gameplay could support both of these ways.

Anyways, really good job, you're making a great progress with the game!

You're working like a machine, get some sleep!

Honestly though, amazing progress, I'll definitely check out the Discord server!

Really amazing game!

Did you also make the jump higher? Because it seems a lot better to me now. I love the progress you're making on the game!

Amazing work!

Hmm, sounds definitely interesting and unique. I like that idea!

xDDD of course.

So what would you like to do the most?

Well, the first option sounds really cool, but the third option also really sounds interesting to me as it could have a really good atmosphere - you are just stranded on this huge, seemingly neverending mountain and your only option is to go forward. But at the end, you should do what you feel most comfortable with.

Either way, I will definitely be looking forward to it as the climbing mechanics were really fun. Have fun and good luck!

What did I just play and why?

Amazing! Definitely will look into that once it is finished. Keep up the good work!

Really well made game, although maybe a little bit boring at times. The controls are nice and responsive and the short story with a dark twist is a nice addition.

I would maybe like to see more puzzle-like climbing - at the time you mostly just climb up, maybe some not so linear paths would be awesome for future game. Also is the fog effect intentional or as an optimisation? Because I think the game would look stunning without it.

Overall, short and sweet game, perfect for couple of free minutes in the evening. <3

You absolutely nailed the aesthetics and the atmosphere. Can't wait for future updates!

There are some things I would like to point out though. Every time I stop walking, my character always makes another step or two before actually stopping - not a huge issue, but it bugged me out the whole time while playing...

I was also wondering if the small lighter could perhaps be used as a light source? Because with most horror games I have the trouble of them beeing too dark, so that would be neat.

Really enjoyable though, amazing job!

Well executed and plays really well, but it's way too punishing (more checkpoints would be great).

Also I don't really see the connection to the theme.

Very original and prety well executed. Aside from some minor bugs like the monster's health covering up the name of your weapon I didn't have any trouble playing the game and hitting the monster from different directions due  to different weapon patterns was really fun. The victory and lose screens would have been neat, but overall really good job!

Wait... am I the bad guy? Anyway really nicely made game with unexpected atmosphere for an indie jam game. Nice graphics too and the gameplay works really well. Also pretty well done tutorial that lets the player learn the mechanics themselves. Really good job!
