How does your game fit the theme?
You have a basic control scheme, W A S D, spacebar, and left click. When you get a new skill or item, the input for the skill/item replaces an existing input. For example, assigning a new skill over the spacebar, replacing the jump button. When a key, as in a key for a lock, is assigned to an input, it cannot be reassigned or removed. As you gain more keys, items, and skills, you start literally running out of controls, and therefore control.

Seems like you ran out of time. You never really ran out of inventory slots. But I did manage to grab the key and finish the game after almost drowning and being confused by the softlocks if I try to go anywhere else. Hope you keep working on this to make it more complete!
Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, we made a solid metroidvania system but didn't have enough time to put together the level. Good job on beating the game.
its a cool concept, with a bit of polish this could turn into a great game
Thank you very much.
Sorry about that. I thought I blocked the unused paths when I submitted it. The bottom path is the only one that works. We were trying to make a metroidvania with multiple areas connected to a hub room. But only one area is mostly finished. There is a door in the room with the multiple paths. It opens if you got the key. Once the door is open jump in front of the door and press E when prompted. Thank you for your complement on the inventory system.
It's a really interesting concept, although you are easily able to softlock yourself, unless I am missing something.
Thank you. In the room with the multiple paths. The one that goes down is the only one that works. See my previous comment.
Love the idea, and jelous that you can make an inventory in the span of a jam, but most of the paths just drop you into the void and require a restart. I liked what I got to play, just I couldn't play most of it.
