A virus is set loose inside the system, and it is going out of control. As the virus, you are progressively making things out of the system's control by renaming, deleting and accessing folders to break it.

I love the idea, but I think there could be a bit more direction and challenge in how to progress. Really fun concept though!
This is a fantastic game! Unfortunately it got stuck for me: I tried to press enter and down arrow and all that but it didn't seem to work. When I got to Karen notes (where you're supposed to do core) the text file was empty. I definitely want to try again at some point, because I absolutely love the concept and execution and personality. Any chance we can get a reveal as to what K.A.R.E.N. stands for?

You are not the first person to get stuck there. I’ve updated the solutions document if you want to have a go at it again :)
K.A.R.E.N. is an abbreviation of some words. However, K.A.R.E.N. decided to rename itself to “Amazing, Responsive, Efficient, Nice” (they forgot the K).

Great you liked it! If you ever feel stuck it can be good to read the command prompt, as K.A.R.E.N might sometime say a little bit too much

Glad you like the concept! It can be a little bit confusing what could count as maching or not sometimes. On the capthaV2 it can sometimes take one extra second for the game to recognize which files you have deleted
This is one of the coolest and unique game I seen in this Jam so far espically for something thats play inside a command prompt

Thanks for playing! We're happy you like it :) A parasite often "make their own way" into their hosts, and K.A.R.E.N sometimes do reveal more than she perhaps should
