That was beautiful! I loved the presentation and the message was well delivered. That you managed to do this in 48 hours is seriously impressive. My goodness that's a lot of writing and art! Shame I missed the rating window by literal seconds. You have a bright jamming career ahead of you!

How does your game fit the theme?
When I thought of out of control I thought of how in life there are lots of things out of our control. How we end up fixating on the things we can't control rather than on what we can control.

Cute little story about anxiety and self doubt. Kind of weird that I relate to the story when I got to University in engineering rater than High School. Thanks for sharing the story !
As someone who went through quite a lot of the years spent in High School and College with sleep problems, depression, and anxiety to the point of having panic attacks, I really like what you did here with the game's narrative. I came in not knowing what to expect just reading the title and seeing the cover image, but hoo boy that hit harder than it probably should've. The art style is lovely, and the choices of music fit the mood of the scenes they were used in quite well. Well-written and a pleasure to play/read through. Great work!
That's very kind of you to say, thank you! Likewise, I hope you're improving and navigating through recovery well! The loneliness can feel horrendous at times, so if you are still struggling (which I'm not hoping you are, obviously), remember all the replies to this game like mine... and also seek out the help that you need. Don't let yourself suffer in silence again, alright? Take care!
The watercolor art is wonderful, and the story is uplifting and charming. I'm extremely pleased with the narrative focus on the jam theme; where most games are about physical player controls, you've opted to make a narrative story specifically confronting the emotional and situational aspect of having things Out Of Control. [Also the quacking and honking in the script gets old, but who am I to judge when my game is filled entirely with grunts for voice lines?]
This is really beautiful to look at, and very wholesome! As someone who is not an artist, I'm impressed how much art you made in such a small amount of time, and with a whole story too! Really good job!
Awwww your game is so sweet. I honestly found it really relatable, and I love how you used the 5 points. Thank you for making this!
The characters in this game were all very adorable. Normally I'm not the kind of person that goes after this style of game but i really enjoyed this one. Putting the theme of the jam into the story rather than the gameplay is a bold choice and it really worked out well. Good job!
Art is nice and the story is relatable and engaging. A very unique approach to have the theme as a story. Great job!
Such a good story. U have a good knack for story telling, and the characters are so adorable.
Overall it is a good game.
This is a nice break from all of the crazy games about wrangling out of control cars and space ships! The art and story are charming and engaging. Great job!
Really adorable, love taking on themes of things that happen in real life that are out of control and often uncomfortable to talk about.
This game is just awesome.
It was more than a game for me.
It was like a free therapy session.
I feel like a imposter as s developer (coz my art sucks). Many people feel like this.
Thanks for making this game.
Super cute art and love that you took the prompt in such a heartfelt direction.
Gameplay wise, I thought the pacing was a bit slow, and the dialogue could have come in quicker (lots of fades between sentences even in the same scene).
But overall, nice work!
