How does your game fit the theme?
In 010 you need to collect gems to get controls for the next level. If you don't collect enough gems you are "Out of Control".

While this game is a bit unrefined, it does have different spin on the "losing control of the player character" trope a lot of games in this jam are using, which is definitely refreshing.

If you don't get enough gems on a given level, the next level becomes impossible - this seems a major flaw to me. However,  I think there's a seed of an idea that could be interesting if explored further. Perhaps than losing basic movement controls, the gems give you a range of different power ups that make the next level easier, but still fundamentally possible even without collecting the gems. Though, I'm not sure if that would fit the Game Jam theme.

This game was cool! I really like the concept., and the level design was really engaging. I think if I were to recommend anything for the future it would be to have more controls that can be lost so that it takes longer to lose essential controls like moving right.

I'm gonna have the music stuck in my head for days!

Thanks for making it :)

I like the way you reinterpreted "out of control" to be similar to "out of stock," but it felt like I was less depleted of controls and more "Oh, oops, I made a bad routing choice, guess I need to commit suicide to get the gem(s) I missed." This is especially true considering I think you need a minimum of 3 controls to complete any stage; there's no hypothetical speedrun option where you can take a difficult path using 1 or 2 controls and thus skip out-of-the-way gems. That all said, the art was cute, and the music isn't too terrible in spite of the short loop.
