I played on hard-mode by using a notebook computer. Your next game should look at the internal thermometer and tell you to make your computer really cold or really hot.

But way to use the very medium of digital games to your advantage. Excellently done!

thanks for the praises :) watching cpu thermometer is a great idea ! reminds me of metal gear solid and having to freeze/heat keycards

There's the start of something incredibly interesting here... is there any more to the game past the point of "surrendering"? I noticed I was prompted to do something that obviously I couldn't do at the time.

After your surrender, the arbiter self-destructs and nothing is left.

Thanks for the kind words

There is more to it, though. If you surrender but change your mind and plug your keyboard back in, it resets to telling you how many devices there are.

I avoided checking the source code specifically to avoid spoilers, so I ended up spending about 10 minutes to create a vbs script to open the game and wait a few seconds for me to unplug devices so it could SendKeys for me, only to realize later that there's no code to handle that.

The arbiter is pleased with your persistence !

Great idea to bring the puzzle further next time...

I'm playing on a notebook, so it was hard to play.. But I loved the concept!

Maybe you can work it out with the device manager... this is the hard mode :D

Doesn't work for me via Wine. If someone is able to get it working, do tell :]
