very fun concept, and creative spin on this genre of game. only thing i would suggest is a change of background music -- the current music is very laid-back and "happy" sounding, but i think more intense music would be more fitting. overall very good job!
Thanks for the feedback. I agree with you about the music. I wanted to add some dramatic component into it but unfortunately I didn't have time for that. Also I have never written a soundtrack before so I was quite happy I was able to come up with at least this (my other attempts on the background music for this game were overly dramatic so we decided to go for this).
Interesting idea. I would recommend adding controller support for this - it seems to be made for them.

This game is really fun to play. A bit challenging but not too much. The graphics and animations are very pretty. But it could use a bit of polishing - especially the sound effects and the system of the god events.
