Fun rhythm game! From a design perspective, I think the controls could be communicated to the player a little clearer. Good job!
The rythm game is interesting though it took some time to understand what were the controls, as a non qwerty user. I guess it's only a detail though. Well done for a 12h jam!
I like me some rhythm games, but the theme of this game is a stretch
I've read the explanation, but the game still seems quite loosely tied to the theme of the jam. Also, I originally thought you were supposed to tap the white dots too. Perhaps the screen could show a second set of drums where these instructions show up instead to make the premise more clear, also it would make it seem like you had a battle with another drummer? All in all, solid job considering that you made your own level maker!
What engine did you make this in? Did you use just a scripting environment?
