The emotions portrayed in the sentences feel very real. I quite liked that. I'm not sure I understood the mechanics of the game though. As I move my ring, the other one starts drifting away. I can catch it and grind it to a halt but nothing else happens.

Would love to hear more about the meaning of the game.

One thing: I think it would be better to submit the game as standalone exe instead of something you have to install.

Thanks for commenting! The intention is that you can't stop the other ring from leaving. I ended up pretty short on time so it doesn't quite happen that way, but I wanted the mechanics of the game to mirror the idea of people growing apart.

The first time around I tried to move around and I got to game over pretty quickly. The second time around I just stood still until the text kept repeating. I wasn't sure if that's the end or not.
