How does your game fit the theme?
This is a 2D puzzle game that requires players to reconsider those essential composition elements in 2D platformers where the roles of those elements become reversible. It demands careful decision-making and logical reasoning, setting you up with a challenge where the fundamental elements of 2D platformers are cleverly manipulated.

Did you think about add some colors ? Even if it breaks the black and white theme, I think it could improve a bit the global understanding.
But very polish puzzle game and interesting concept. The difficulty progression of the puzzles was good and it was fun to solve the levels. Nice job !
Runs nicely! I couldn't get a handle on the movement tho...kept getting stuck at the first spikes...maybe I didn't understand how the mouse input works? nonetheless, I liked the music and the graphics!!
This was a pretty challenging game but also an interesting and unique concept. If it was more polished I think it could be really fun!
Really cool idea, very finicky interface. Feels a bit like patting your head and rubbing your belly.
If I might make a suggestion, perhaps you could tweak it such that the states in the top left (hold, hurt, bounce etc) are controlled by a button that advances each one position.
eg. triangle = hurt, square = hold, circle = bounce
Then you press the space bar and the new conditions are triangle = bounce, square = hurt, circle = hold
This would require designing levels with that sequence in mind, but I think would open a lot of possibilities and make the game faster/more playable.
Thanks!
How challenging! I'm not skilled enough but this was so fun to play, tickles my single braincell. I love the style of the game as well!
Very cool game! I really liked the concept of changing the rules as part of the puzzle solving. Normally when we play puzzle games, we are forced to solve problems within a given rulespace, but in Composition, we solve problems by creating the rulespace! 10/10!
I love the music and design!
But I did not even pass the first level :( It mentions that you can drag in UI, but I did not get how to do it. Great job!
Thank you for the comment! For dragging, you are able to drag the shapes at the upper left corner of the screen to manipulate it's statement
This was very fun.
awesome idea, but I feel like the level design was a bit lacking, as each of the individual levels did not have a very clear concept. Also, while game does have a monochrome style, introducing colors to further differentiate the shapes may make it easier to quickly make decisions.
very creative concept !
