Flappy bird stresses me out, so this is nice :)
I have never used Scratch before. I feel like that it can be a good tool, but I also feel like it can be very limiting. I think it would be great to try to recreate it outside of Scratch!
I must confess, I'm a big fan of Scratch, used to make games on scratch back in the days. So always pleased when people use it. Pretty nicely done, especially considering scratch's limitations.
I don't think I've ever played a Scratch game jam game before, so that was an interesting setup process! I think if you ever wanted to improve upon it, either finding a way to make it executable or remaking in a different engine would be beneficial. As for the gameplay, I'd love to see a difficulty curve where the bird starts flapping more and more, and possibly having multiple birds spawn in on the screen at once.
Nice Game, but it feels slow, because you have to wait some time before the bird is being spawned again.
and you should have made a executable file for it.
btw the game still give that real flappy bird feel, enjoyed it.
Haha, this is great, good job! I wish the game would get more difficult over time though, as it is there is barely any challenge.
Also, for those who don't know: .sb3 is a scratch file, you can play that in your browser by going to https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/ and loading the file.
Oh, about the game getting difficult, I was planning to make a relaxing game, that you can play after a long day. But thanks for trying out my game! Really means a lot for me! This is my first Game Jam ever!
