The rules seemed a bit confusing to me at first, though I kinda grasped them eventually. The balancing seems a bit weird; the player died in the second battle, and the first battle dragged on a bit.

Physically throwing dice for rpg combat is cool, though accompanying visuals would have gone a long way. I also feel like it's a bit of a cop out to say the player and enemy's roles are reversed when really you're still playing as the player, you simply are the one who presses the button to roll the enemy's die.

Trust me, part way through making this I realized the idea wasn’t that great and thought the exact same thing, but it was too late to change ideas. Towards the end I really didn’t want to keep working on it because it felt like a cop out. If I did end up remaking it I 100% would go for you actually trying to beat the player in as little lives as possible while the player still gets the upgrades or something. Thank you for the feedback, I really do appreciate it!
