I really like the idea. But didn't get how to complete first room) Player just running between two red cubes in the middle...
Shoot sound like a bug. I'll look into fixing it (can't alter the jam submission at this point obviously though). If your guards were loaded into the first room, not making them play the death animation can make the player get stuck in a similar way.
