How does your game fit the theme?
It is the reversed game of Asteroids - you play as the asteroids and attack the Space Ship form all sides. In Asteroids, you have to live as long as you can, but in Space Shooter, you have to detroy the ship as fast as you can.

I like it, simple and fun. Wierd how the points were seemingly tied to moving your ship, so the optimal strat is to just mash the A and D buttons for points.
Fun idea! I agree with what others wrote - it would give me as the player more agency if the spaceship was a bit slower and more predictable. That way I could strategize more. Perhaps to compensate, the astroids should be more expensive and you would need think more and weigh options between different kinds of asteroids. Anyway, congratulations of finishing and posting the game in time!
I think the spaceship is a little too fast but eventually I won after spamming a lot. Maybe there should be some kind of indicator that the spaceship was hit as well, like a sound or something. Still, it's alright!
Thank you! I forgot to add sounds honestly, but there are hearts in the upper left corner for the spaceships lifes and they turn grey when the ship gets hit.
I missed all of the shots but still won?
I like the concept and I love that you can move to the different edges of the screen. I finished the game without realising because I thought I was missing all the time, but it turns out there wasn't anything happening to indicate the ship was hit (I wasn't looking at the lives in the top left).
Screenshake or sound effect perhaps would help with this :)
You are right! I just realised at the upload that I had no sounds, which would help a lot. Maybe after the Game Jam I will reupload it and polish it with sounds and higher quality art.
