How does your game fit the theme?
I let the players assume the role of the enemies while the goal for the hero - and thus also the win condition - stays the same.

Very interesting/good idea, especially for your first game jam. I think you have a lot of potential to be an excellent game developer!

That's what I'm studying at the moment ^-^ Hope I can prove you right when I enter the industry in a couple years!

First off, congrats on getting something and not giving up. Second, I like the idea of manipulating the enemies to get the hero to win the level. Very on point for the theme. My recommendation is to update your game page to add a "how to play" for people to understand the rules better since it took me a while to play it. Overall, nicely done

I kinda wanna leave the game as is for this game jam, and take that advice as an improvement point for next time I make a game - it's definitely something I'll focus on a bit more with how much feedback I got on it haha

Much appreciated though! And thanks for playing as well :)

by game page I mean the itch.io page where people click to play your game. It would help to have a how to play writte  there. :)

Cool game, especially for your first game jam! A tutorial is very important, even if it's in the page of the game. It took me a while and a lot of deaths to figure out what I was doing. Great submission!

Could you rate my game? I would really appreciate it, thanks!

I left a rating on your game as well just now, just before the deadline haha

I think idea is interesting but the game needs polish :)) Tho for the first game jam game its really neat! I really liked the sprites. Good job!

Thanks!

Slightly confusing but good concept and nice visuals!

I've gotten that feedback from a couple others as well, and in hindsight I definitely should've made something between level 1 and 2 to make the turning a bit more clear yeah, but oh well - thanks for playing though!
