The gameplay has some depth to it and including story elements is a nice touch. The one thing is that I did not really felt pressured being a target here since game is quite easy. Overall, it's a good submission.
Nice work! It's always nice to see a game jam title that has story elements to it. I was a little confused for some parts of it, but I still like the general premise and how it ties into the theme.
