Really interesting mechanic and plays really well into the prompt!
Didn't make a lot of sense what to do at first so I did have to read the comments but once I got into it it was really enjoyable.
The only criticism beyond the grating window resizing sound which other people have mentioned is that the jumping felt a bit too 'heavy' for me, but that's likely to just be personal preference. Although seeing the lil' guy faceplant when I fell down did make me smile the first time it happened.
Really happy that you enjoyed the game! Thanks for the feedback!
absolutely incredible idea for the mechanic, and the fact that you pulled it off also in the browser warrants so much respect
as other said, the sound of resizing the window is a bit annoying and you hear it a lot but that’s super minor
some of what happens when you resize the window felt a bit unpredictable so it required some empirical experimentation (if there’s some logic in some of these levels I really don’t understand)
both small gripes mentioned above aside… this is a bold and solid implementation with good art to back it up, absolutely love it, it’s the first 5/5/5 i give
a bit of harsh criticism: I think your capsule art is really holding it back, I have zero association between your game and your cover art
Thank you so much for the feedback! It is very valuable! Im glad you enjoyed it!
Man this is so cool and such an interesting idea. Everything about this great, but moving the window around and resizing it is just kind of clunky and awkward fundamentally. Makes this a great jam game but not something I would want to play more of. I also agree with the others that the resizing sound is pretty grating. But the concept is really cool and innovative, and it works!
We appreciate the feedback!
Not your usual platformer !
I expected the first part about only seing a part of the window but the cubes and island mechanics were really well thought and added nice puzzles elements. It also adds a lot more substance to your usual platformer and makes you think outside the box. (quite literraly)
The experience was really enjoyable and refreshing and at every new mechanic it was nice to try to figure it out, everytime i thought "wow that's so cool they came out with this ! How did they code it ?".
The music tunning down when zooming out was a nice detail
Would love a longer version of the game, good job !
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Well made! I like the concept of moving the window, I like the art and the different elements. A fun puzzle game. It is one thing I dislike though and it's the constant BZuzbuzding of moving the window, that sound effect makes me go crazy, its the same sound over and over again each time a pixel of the window moves. Other than that, well done, its a great game!
Thank you so much for all the feedback! It was definitly my fault making the sound like that, didnt think it would be such an annoyance, if I could I'd change it now. Apart from that Im glad you had fun
L.M.A.O. Bravo. Well done!
Thank you so much!
really cool idea. Sound hurt a little :)
My bad, shouldve been less loud. Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed the idea & controls!
I got a little annoyed by a sound played while resizing the window (but it could just be my browser/os :P)
Yup if I could go back and change the sound I would didnt know it would bother as manny people I shouldnt have it set up like that. Glad you enjoyed everything else!
Amazing game! good to see another game with the same-ish premise (although this was a lot more inventive!). it definitely needs a bit more polish and a lot more bug fixing, but it's a great idea!
Thank you for the feedback!
