How does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme by a different definition of scale. In this game the player is a fishing robot, one that was built to scale fish. Therefore the player is built to scale

Nice take on the concept and great artwork!

Like the art style, intro was nice. I like the color changes as you go deeper.

I support Phibert.  Loved the intro with the quick background and newspaper story. Gameplay was simple but very fun and overall the style worked really well! :D

Overall, I think the concept is really fun! The starting gameplay can be a bit grating at the start, but as you acquire more items it starts to become more interesting. I think it takes a little too long to acquire the amount of scales needed for specific upgrades, and the repetitiveness of the gameplay makes this feel longer. With some polish, and maybe a few more enemy types, the game could shape into something special as a short, standalone experience.

I didn't see the theme being very strong (besides being what you "gather"). I liked the use of the luminosity under water and how the game plays out in general. With some more juice, I believe this would have been way better (+control, +effect, +sfx, +vfx) in terms of "fun". Make it so "shooting" or "moving" is rewarding in itself.

I really was not expecting a boss fight and was pretty surprised even though I just camped it with my harpoon gun (which I thought was useless until then). I liked the music, the art (quite good), and some of the sfx but the gameplay was a little lacking. I think that the loop of  just go kill more fish for more scales gets old really fast. But also, the shop was too expensive for a game jam game I think.
