Fits the theme well! The platforming combined with the numbered scale makes a unique puzzle platforming game. Very minimalist yet cute visuals. Good job! :)
I'm a big fan of the little guy and the walk cycle. Jumping on the bubbles is also fun
Thank you for playing! I had a lot of fun making the walk cycle, as I have no idea how to make it not look like that.
I like the music and the style of the game! It's always nice seeing an actual animated character in a game jam game and it fit the theme well. One of the early levels was quite hard to figure out compared to the others but I did eventually get through it hah! :)
Nice puzzle concept ! The platforming part is a bit hard to control, it's frustrating to know the solution and struggle to execute it. Also the "you can bounce on bubbles" tutorial should have been on the first level, since you need it there and it took me a long time to figure out. Or did I miss something ?
Thanks for playing! I was trying to play-test the game, as I couldn’t tell if the controls were good or not, but I couldn’t get any pc players to try, so I never really got a clear answer. For the jumping on bubbles, the 4th level is meant to be like a tutorial, as it tells you how to jump on them, but the text box might’ve been to far away so you might’ve missed it. I think I’ll increase the size of the text and fine tune the controls after the jam. I think you might’ve had the wrong solution in the first level, if you were using it there then you had the wrong solution, and I’m guessing I never fixed that problem. Thanks for the feedback!
Oh, by first level I meant first level that wasn't a tutorial. You have a bunch of tutorial, then a "real" level where I had to bounce to get out, and only after then there was a level with a text telling me I could bounce on bubbles, which I already realized
The solution for that level was actually just to jump into the smaller bubble while large (as you should keep most the speed from before but should also be small enough), and land on the platform. I would've made that better, or moved the level further out, but I didn't see your solution until after the jam.
Although the graphics is simple, but it has really unique mechanics and nice level design! Well done!
pretty much good and fun
