Wow, this is a surprisingly similar idea to mine, but in a completely different setting and execution! I also had the "scale cards" idea but I went with a relaxing, simple balancing implementation, while you took the fantasy setting dungeon crawling route.
The game seems complex at first and it takes some time to truly grasp the mechanics and be able to do the math for all the resources at the same time to be able to progress. However, once you spent some time playing it, it becomes more fun. The art style is also fitting. Well done!
I tried your game out after going through the tutorial and I'm not sure I understand what determines when the enemy attacks. I went 32 turns without being attacked the first time and then I got attacked three times in a row and lost. I think this game has some really cool art and potential to be fun. I hope to see it after the jam and an update. Good Job. If you could play my teams game we would really appreciate any feedback
I tried playing this game and see a lot of potential to have fun. The concept seems super cool to play around with and I wish I had the time to really dig down into the mechanics of it. I had a lot of trouble understanding the rules but that's every gamejam entry since a good tutorial/howto takes a lot of time to make.
I hope you can put out some updates in the future!
We apologize for the bug with the game no continuing after the first shop. We are working on some fixes can can update in the future. after the game jam.
