This was really good for your first game! There is a lot of potential for this to expand further, maybe powerups you can grab to make your robot move faster or going off the sides of the screen like pacman. The difficulty should ramp up much faster though, since it gets boring quick. Otherwise, the gameplay is very intuitive and enjoyable. Great concept.

Also, stellar interpretation of the theme, made me chuckle.

This has all the key functionality of being a game: player movement, a goal, obstacles, and last but not least, tracking your score ;p

The player movement is smooth and feels good. I like the warning for the obstacles before they come. I find it interesting the horizontal obstacle can slide diagonally (relatively) if you are moving up to the next level - it provides a little challenge to the player when they think they're safe.

With ramping difficulty, even as simple as more (but fair) obstacles. Or maybe to the next level you go across or back down. The game feels good to play, even when "simple", which makes adding polish a bit easier.

You did it! YOU made a game jam game, that 1) embraced the theme, 2) has a genuine gameplay loop, and 3) is fully functioning! I had fun with this PLUS you did what so many others didn't. You made a game :)
