Made it to Floor 5. I like watching other people play these types of games, not actually playing them xd
I think the execution is great, and this could have a steam release. I think it's just that good. But the audio quality needs some work, some sounds were hurting my ears.
Thanks for playing, floor 5 is really good! I could release it on Steam with a few months of work indeed. Atm I'm working on a game already, but maybe I'll went back to this later. I did this for one of my older GMTK jam game actually, it sold poorly by it was fun to do :)
Simple but well made! Gameplay feels smooth, art looks decent. Good job!
Very fun and creative. I wish it was just slightly easier, I feel like half the fun is taking risks and attempting higher jumps when the time is getting short, but each piece of the tower seems like it has the "correct" way to scale it and I keep messing up if not going exactly by the book. I feel like grabbing onto ledges is a bit too punishing at the moment, maybe slightly increasing the effective area for grabbing?
Congratz for a great submission!
Thanks for playing! I 100% agree with you, and actually changed that already for a post jam version. That's on me for not playtesting enough before submitting.
Really neat concept, equal parts fun and infuriating haha! It took a bit to get a hang of the controls but as soon as it clicked, it was really fun! Nice job!
This was a lot of fun, and very satisfying when you get a hang of the jumping. I really like that the difficulty scales over time as well.
