Really impressive atmosphere considering the economical use of assets! I'm not sure if it was intentional for the mouse to get stuck in the blob after being dragged into the center- if so some sort of way to indicate that to the player would be great. Cool game! Made me feel like I was about to die/being sucked into a Burial song.
Thank you for playing! Glad to hear the atmosphere is immersive :) Yes, the mouse drag is intentional, thanks for the suggestion, you are right that this kind of thing would need some sort of indication.
Very cool idea! incredibly creative! It was just a bit too difficult, especially because the blobs move so fast at the beginning that dodging them is almost luck, which is a bit unfortunate
Thanks for the feedback! Personally I found the strat to be dodging near the corners when possible, due to there being more leeway, but I did consider having a difficulty toggle but kinda ran out of time in the end :( Glad you enjoyed the idea though! :)
Very artful and well thought-out, though I felt like I was getting punished for touching smaller blobs that were already "inside" the big blob, which is hard to see and thus play around
Thanks for the feedback! That's a very good point yeah, I can see that being very annoying. I did increase the range in which blobs become inactive, but not fully due to it making level 3 too easy. More balancing needed! Oh well..
It was a lot laggy, don't know if it's because of PyGame, but the style and the ambience gave me chills. Unfortunately I was only able to do Level 2, because Level 1 maybe doesn't work [Or maybe I am dumb, I don't know, I even tried to analyze the white noise for a possible solution], and even if Level 2 I have managed to confine the blob, the game ran at 10 FPS, so it was a little bit frustrating....
But I liked the creativity and the style!
Oh! I'm sorry for the bad experience :( The lag is really strange, since I get over 200 FPS with just integrated graphics. The last monologue in level 1 was meant to hint at experimenting with different mouse buttons, and the solution is to simply scroll the mouse wheel. Regardless, thanks for playing!
Like a puzzle Game, interesting!
