Couldn't play the game, as it is local multiplayer. But great job, looks like something I would want to implement in a game of mine.
A nice game idea but sadly local multiplayer (a rather bad idea on a jam)
I missed sounds.
The initial start was confusing.
The idea of changing effects was good.
Add some sounds and music and it'll be way better!
