Probably my favorite game of this jam so far! Although it took a little bit to figure out, once I got into a flow I was hooked. It's unfortunate that the itch download doesn't work and I hope the game still gets the recognition it deserves.

wow, thanks. I appreciate the kind words

Well uploads are disabled because the jam is over so I can't fix the itch upload, but I've uploaded it to my personal server here if anyone wants to try it...

If this is against the rules I apologize.

I mean, it is against the rules, but I'll play it even if not rating it due to not being playable with the jam upload :)

Edit: played, has an interesting twist to frogger. But It seems that I die even if I get with the right number to the other side?

Developer

I struggled a little with how to handle this. When you jump into the slot the number on the top of the die needs to match the number in the slot. Originally I had it so it would actually need to match the number on the back of the die, since rolling forward would change that number to the top, but it was too hard to play because the user would need to keep track of which number was in that position. If this were a 3D game, or even a 2.5D game, where you could see the back of the die at all times it would have worked better that way,  but because it was top down 2D game it was just too difficult to play in that configuration.

I appreciate you giving it a try though. This was really just a learning experience for me. I've been a developer for a long time, but have never really done games. (well not in 20+ years) I thought this would be something fun to try. I'm mad at myself for screwing up the upload, but after a night with very little sleep and two very long days mistakes were bound to happen.

You only included the .exe

You also need all the files the build generates

Developer(+1)

i did not know that, 😱

Couldn't fix it because uploads are disabled but I uploaded the whole folder here on my personal server if you still want to try it...

Be careful cause they said in the rules if you linked your game to someplace else, you could get disqualified.

Developer(+1)

oh well, with the original being completely unplayable I might as well be disqualified anyway. 😕

I couldn't get it to run :(

Yeah as mentioned this was my first Unity game so I didn't realize I needed the whole folder. I should have tested the download but it was the middle of the night and I was tired. I uploaded a complete copy here if you want to play...
