Neat game and concept! And the title made me laugh xD
You are mad!

Developer

Thanks for playing! And glad you liked the title! I wanted it to be something unique to hopefully grab people's attention.

Really enjoyed your game. The different enemies and player abilities brought in a lot of variation, which didn't let the game get boring. Also I am a fan of Vampire Survivors. Like you we used it as inspiration for our game. :)

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!!  Definitely some inspiration from vampire survivors here, but as I went on I think it kinda looks like it a little bit too??

I enjoyed your game as well!

Cool and fun reverse bullet hell game, hope Mage McDuffy was satisfied before entering the afterlife.

(it triggered my motion sickness at around 1000+, maybe an option to lessen the screenshake?)

Developer

Hey thanks for playing (I also just played your game!) Glad that you had fun! And you made it to 1000+ food?? Nice! Wasn't sure if people would stick around that long but glad that it seemed fun enough to do so!!

And dang sorry about that!! It crossed my mind about what if screenshake could possibly cause some sort of sickness in people. First time I've implemented it into a game (and I personally love it!). In the future though I'll consider reducing it, or having an option to disable or change it.

Thanks again!!!

I did like the screen shake, it adds to the heaviness of the large guys. But as the game goes on and more large guys appears, the screen shakes tends to be continuous. Which was the issue, it's always good to add in moderation : )

I had a fun time running around and shooting stuff! The random shots are a cool idea, but they rarely made me play in a different way (except the ice aura). Maybe you could vary them so that the player has to adjust each time they reroll? Or you could make the extra symbols after the first modify your bullet (with spread, piercing, splitting upon hit etc.)?

Developer

Thanks for playing and glad you had fun!! And that's actually a fair point, for at least 4... maybe 5 of the spells your play style really is going to be the same most likely. Food for thought for the next time then!
