Could have used some in game instructions, and also what I'm trying to accomplish. Music would have added a lot here, but I think it's the start of something cool.

Sorry but… the game is too confusing. UX is lacking a lot of polishing, weak aesthetics. The gameplay is slow, but does not feel strategic. The resolution is bugged in my display AND… I got softlocked after 6 turns. I did nothing weird, just played the game.

it was beautiful, but I don't quite understand what to do when the path vanished below my ships, so I get stuck.

This was the major bug that was fixed. If you want to try it out without the pathfinding bug, a new build was posted by the author on his itch.io page. Couldn't push an update to the submitted project during judging.  Thank you for trying it out!
