How does your game fit the theme?
This is a top-down shooter where you shoot the enemy die that is coming after you to roll that die. Depending on the number that the enemy dice rolls, the enemy dice either plainly dies or explodes, affecting the dice around it.

I can't run it for some reason
someone commented a solution to this: just rename the folder that ends with _data to "Shoot to Dice_data"
that is what i get for renaming my project after building

Hot tip for future players:
Rename the folder that ends on "_data" to "Shoot to Dice_Data" and the game will launch. That's why we don't manually rename our executables after building ;)
For the game itself: It's... it's fine.
right, the problem was that i renamed the game after building (The previous name was "GMTK 2022" but i forgot to rename the project)
also, the game is terrible since it is my first actual game
hey sorry but i can't play... Any ideas?
Just to be clear, It's an error:
data folder not found.
thats what i get for rushing this whole thing and uploading it at 2 am
welp, i cant fix it now, sorry
Oh I'm really sorry to hear that :/
nevermind, another person commented a solution: just rename the folder that ends with _data to "Shoot to Dice_data"
dont play it tho the game is terrible since its my first game jam game & first ever actual game
hey, I played the game. don't be so punitive on yourself, you did a good job. the game is well made, no bugs, follows the theme.... it's just not very long, but that's not a problem either, after all, you had 48 hours. You can be proud of your work, I hope to see you participating again next year, you can look for me and I will test your game again! =]
this is my second game jam of many =]
