I feel like some instructions or a mini-tutorial could have helped! The visuals were solid enough but I wasn't sure what was going on. I liked the music also!
Hello, thank you, I think, our musician will appreciate your words :)
"I wasn't sure what was going on" - you're right, the idea was: you kill the enemies - you upgrade your cube by assigning to each of the side new cards with effects.
That was the main feature, but, unfortunately, we didn't explain it anywhere and didn't make the "Blood bar" for the player to buy upgrades.
Solid atmosphere, the music fits, and the lighting is pretty. The player weapon also looks good. Interested to see what you had to cut due to the time constraints.
Hello, thank you for your feedback :D
In the first version, we decided that the player would be able to increase the number of faces that the dice had, so after completing each of the level you will upgrade your dice, but also bring more randomness and chaos to your playthrough.
Moving on, the second level "Limb" should have been dark, ruined place, but somehow the fog turned into purple and we didn't notice it :)
Lastly, there was a third level with a metal song from our musician, but due to the time limit, we didn't implement it : /
This submission looks pretty good!
Hello, I really appreciate that you liked the look of the game despite the rough game design and a lot of things that were cut off from the game due to the bugs.
Nevertheless, thank you, it was first experience in Unreal Engine with a brand new team :D
