The visuals and the music are quite good, but the mechanic of only attacking up does make the game harder than it seems. It is challenging but it feels unfair at certain points. Good game overall
I liked the mechanic and had fun seeing all the abilities / play-styles than came from the dice rolling :)
I did find that only being able to attack ‘up’ made things more challenging then they needed to be though :/
In the game there are problems with the movement (I may be something I do not understand, but the character refuses to move when you press the WASD buttons), as well as poorly developed animations, but the idea itself, with the strengthening of enemies and issuing different abilities on a roll of the die, quite interesting.
I like the use of the theme and the abilities. Cool use of the visuals too.
