So cute!
It is very polished for a 48h jam! I really liked it!
Just missed a score system, cuz I'm good. Like, the best player of all times, but I can't compare my performance to prove it. =/
The style slots are such a cute addition - I couldn't help but use at least one for style each time. The particle/sound effects for defeating enemies and beating the level were really great. I have to agree that roll and then assign would probably make for more exciting decisions. It was interesting that the lower-value gun was actually sometimes easier to use than the stronger gun since you could hold down the mouse to rapid fire - an interesting trade off!
Good job on the music too.
The charming silliness of the style upgrades made me think how this could translate well to a party game of sorts.
I liked the implementation of dices and how you have to deal with randomness in each levels, even if simple it's still very enjoyable, the music is very good well done on that too ^^
Oh and forgot to say the different costumes and hats were a nice idea to add!
Awesome game! The graphics are really cute, and I like that you have a little more control over what you want to be upgraded than in my game. Thanks for the nice comment!
It's a really cool idea to have the player's upgrades be based on the roll of the dice. I wonder if it might be more interesting to roll the dice first, and then choose where to put them? Just a thought.
The different gun types were all really interesting, nice job making them all feel unique and fun to play with.
The character design is top notch, I loved seeing how my appearance changed each round. Nice job!
I could definitely see a game with a risk/reward combat system making really fun use of assigning the dice after rolling!
Thanks for playing and thank you for the kind words!
