How does your game fit the theme?
The main character is a dice, when it rolls, it's mood changes randomly - which gives them different abilities. This is like real life, the way we feel can impact our behaviour and all we can do is roll with it.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

No

We used pre-existing art

Did your team create the vast majority of the music during the 48 hours?

Yes

We created the vast majority of the music during the game jam

This a great start, the different dice faces granting different abilities really mixes up the basic platforming action. It feels like something you could build on a lot!

The jumping is quite floaty and the camera has trouble keeping up with the player character, making it hard to see what's coming. With a bit of polish I can see this being really fun!!

This is such thoughtful feedback; thank you for taking the time to play the game and share your thoughts.

You have some great ideas for how we might add some polish.  Thank you for the encouragement that this concept is something that could be built out further.

Overall was a pretty interesting game! I like the music and art style, although I did get a bit confused on where to go and what the different forms did.

Thank you for playing and letting us know what you liked and what parts left you feeling a bit confused.  Your comment  will help us improve the game because,  if we develop it further,  we can focus on exploring ideas that will make it easier for players to know where to go and how Dicey's different moods affect the controls.  If seeing an updated version of the game interests you, please let us know, and we'll ping you if we add anything new.
