Game feel note: when a shot hits an enemy, there should either be sound effect or the enemy should flash or respond in some way so the player knows their attack is doing something.

But anyway, it's great you managed to find time to even put a boss into this.

Regarding the Game feel, our idea was to add a sound when hitting with a smoke effect, but time was running out.

When the Jam is over we will upload a version polishing all those details :)

If you take this further I would suggest increasing the range of the standard enemies as I usually killed them before they were able to start firing.
