The game looks very good and the concept seems nice. It feels like a solid turn base strategy paired with a board game. Unfortunately the framerate is really bad and and i have trouble getting my units to move at times. I wish it would run a little better as it does.
Thank you for your feedback!
As it was a try to use Unreal Engine I think I messed up the build phase and as a result ship an unstable game.
It looks really cool! I couldn't figure out how to attack. I'd love to give it another try if I did something wrong?
After clicking to launch the dice you can do action with the menu list on bottom left.
If it didn't work, you have maybe found a bug ^^
It works! I didn't realize the menu items were buttons lol. I really love how you can choose where to spend your luck, it makes the game more strategic and less random. Very well polished game!
Btw you might be able to reduce the download size in the future by going into the project settings > packaging, and selecting the maps you need to be in the game. Unreal then checks all references in those maps and only packages those. If you don't set anything there the engine will package everything!!! (only just found this out myself last month).
Wanna play our game as well? :D
Wow thanks for the advice! I will remember it for the next time ;)
I will when returning to my home I promise :)
Game is a huge download, but I really like the foundations and I think this could be something really cool with more than just 48 hours sunk into it.
I know I was late on the build step so I couldn't have time to optimise it. Thank you for your feedback!
