Big fan of the concept and art. Controls feel a little bit floaty, and falling off the map feels clunky (maybe use a room, or infinite floor?).

Very very pretty game but the mechanic is a little lost on me - using health to shoot at enemies results in trying to dodge as much as possible rather than shoot though. Also unsure of how to recharge health, and falling through the floor didn't really penalize which was a bit weird.

You recharge health by killing enemies but shooting drains health. That is the concept. I'm sorry I didn't have enough time to make that clear.

Nice graphics, interesting game! I included it in my Game Maker Toolkit’s Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

This game kinda reminds me of some of my old Roblox games where there's stuff that chases you and you gotta defend yourself before you get overwhelmed. The music is smooth which kinda doesn't fit the gameplay. Still, I was pretty addicted to this one.

Really pretty game! Gameplay is good, just little things like infinite floor/walls, enemies making noise would help so I would know if there's someone attacking me from behind. Also it wasn't clear what's giving me health and on my first really good playthrough, when I was smashing them little flying bastards my framerate dropped to something 5 :( But it's really well made, love it! Would definitely play longer if not those frame drops.

Developer

You get health from killing enemies, I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to clarify that. Thanks for playing!

From the moment I saw that banner I was intrigued. The aesthetics are dead simple, and that's all it needs. The guns feel punchy and the way enemies exploded into fragments was satisfying. The main mechanic forced quick and snappy gameplay, in a good way.

On to the bad: The floor really should be infinite. Enemies seem to come at you from all directions, which isn't quite fair when you don't know they're coming behind you. I was confused what gave me health (killing enemies?), an indicator would be nice (to help stupid people like me :P).

Overall, I really liked this one. I'm interested to see more of what you do!
