How does your submission match the theme?
Use grenades to jump over gaps, up ledges, move blocks and destroy walls that stand in your way. When Betty dies, she drops more powerful bombs to pave your way forward.

Made it to the 3rd area. It seems like the text might've covered this but I didn't realize that destroying myself with the grenades makes me explode, which is the only way to break white walls. Otherwise, balancing your "health" with jumps to make from the grenades was pretty cool. Which controls weren't as loose and that there was more precision for where your grenade falls but still fun. Also liked the music haha
The first thing I did was drop a million grenades and watch the fireworks go off. It reminds me a lot of Splosion Man, but with a slightly more suicidal bent. The only problem I had was that it was kind of difficult to accurately place grenades and judge how far it would get you when it exploded.
Great use of the theme of dual purpose design with the bombs being movement options, moving blocks and activating your self destruct, very innovative.
I did have an issue with the bombs being inconsistent and quite had to control as well. Just dropping them in front of me and having them roll away made it difficult to control them the way I want and sometimes they would deal more damage to me and put me into self destruct when I didn't want or expect to.
A nice little theme and some promising ideas, great work!
Really cool idea, and the effects are awesome (though a bit over the top haha). I love that the pieces of your past lives still hang around and are physical objects instead of just disappearing into nothingness. However, a problem I had was that the bombs felt a little inconsistent, sometimes bringing me near dead in one hit, sometimes just budging me a little though both times they were about the same distance away. For the most part though, that wasn't that big of an issue, and save points were distributed often enough that I didn't become frustrated whenever I died when I was trying to. Overall, it fit the theme quite nicely and uniquely, and I enjoyed it enough to complete it :)
Thanks for checking it out! Yeah, the camera shake when you commit suicide was too intense, but it was way to close to submission deadline to fix. It is completely absurd lol. I am glad you enjoyed it!
The game was well thought out and functions very well. Periodically some bugs happen but hey what game doesn't have some bugs? I'd recommend this game to all my friends, family, and Co workers. And anyone can play because the controls are so simple! Currently my cat is playing it!
