How does your submission match the theme?
Your interaction with the world comes from letting air out of the balloon that holds you in the sky. You do this to swoop in on enemies, avoid pesky birds, collect power ups, aim your projectile, avoid enemy projectiles and boost your speed!
But the flip side is that in doing this you lose your altitude, and the only way you can be defeated is having your own balloon popped. By being low, you're that much more vulnerable. You have to fake out your opponent, hoping they'll swoop down before you, or past you into the sea or a bird's sharp beak!
