Short description of the game
Space could represent more than just physical space—when paired with the dimension of time, it could symbolize a memory.
This is a bittersweet and heartwarming game where players use hints from a journal to collect memory items in the scene, cherishing the moments shared with a beloved dog that has passed away. "Let the memories pawse."

Development Process
When we first brainstormed the concept, we started with the idea of "physical space" but wanted to add a more humanistic touch. That led us to the theme of "Memories." We aimed to let players use physical items in a "physical space" to recall memories in their "mental space." This inspired the idea for our game: collecting belongings of a beloved dog.

The biggest challenge was implementing the dragging mechanics for items in the scene, especially resolving issues with overlapping and rendering layers, which took us a lot of time. Due to time constraints, we couldn’t complete the originally planned three scenes, and some content in the journal had to be trimmed.

However, we truly enjoyed this Game Jam and hope players can resonate with the game’s message: Death is not the end of life; forgetting is the end of life.
