No more Late Submissions & Next Streams

Starting now, all the games that made it are locked in! No more late submissions, no more updates, it's voting time!

You can find all the games here.

Regarding official streaming: we will have sticky posts, announcements on discord and twitter. All the games will be played. If you want to be LIVE when your game is played, follow the threads, post your game and our streamer hosts will pick it up in that specific order. If not, your game will be randomly played.

All the games will have assigned the stream url where they have been played in here.

I uploaded to gotm.io but don't see the link for it next to my game. How can I tie itch.io and gotm.io together? It would be prefferred if my game was played on gotm.io (performance seems to be better there)

Host

I manually add them to the spreadsheet, that's the current way :)

Thanks for the quick response! Game is #49 Sweet Dreams, the gotm.io link is https://gotm.io/densegoo/sweet-dreams
I think I forgot to update its page some, so it wasn't showing up. It should be visible now.

btw, can you give me the link to your game? on gotm.io?

FWIW you'll probably have most fun with "Power Sauce" if you can coordinate two or more streamers to play at the same time, given it's a multiplayer game. :)

Forewarning: If you manage to coordinate more than 64 streamers you won't all be able to get into the same arena... :D

Can we keep working and update our GOTM uploads while the voting takes place on ITCH?

Host

yes! the games will be rated from the itch upload. That is, if you have your game embedded from there - that would count as rule breaking

As far as I know I have a seperate copy on each. BTW the url at gotm:  https://gotm.io/mad-rabbit/zeus-power

Host

thanks! I updated the document

is updating/editing the games description page allowed? I did some small edits to clarify attribution and controls, but at no point re-uploaded/updated the actual game. under more information it shows the published date as correct but the last updated says 15 hours ago, which was when i changed some text on the description page, but did nothing else. I hope that was ok. Instinctually i have a feeling it probably was not rule breaky, but just a bit worried cause i am very good at worrying. also to clarify i did attribute all outside assets properly on the description page before submitting to the jam, i just added text clarifying that everything that was not listed on that part were made by me, so there would be no confusion.

It's fine! You can update the page to make it more attractive for people to play your game or make it more clear for people to understand your game
