Wonderful game, loved playing it. Made the first level harder on my own , by trying to build the robot from bottom up. The monochrome art-style was definitely a great selling point. For some reason sometimes the claw does not open up though, not sure why. I am playing on windows.

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, the physcis of the claw are a bit buggy, but surely something that can be fixed. I'm going to polish this game as good as I can.

I actually loved the claw physics, the frustration is what makes the game more interesting.

Really cool concept! Unfortunately Some parts got stuck in the second compartment and were impossible to get out :/

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, this has to be fixed.

The game looked great, sounded great and the gameplay was fun although I wish the claw were a little less floaty!

Thanks for the feedback! Hehe, yeah,  the chain could have more intertia.

I love the graphics! That and the sounds really added a creepy vibe. The theme of assembling something reminded me of Frankenstein! :) The animation was also really good, especially the claw movement.

I wish it was clearer where I was supposed to put the stuff I picked up though. i managed to put it into the other room, but i managed to drop it in the sides with wires, so I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to be there lol

Also, the controls seemed weird. Why did you use H and L which were so far apart? I also felt like the claw moved too slowly, and the pacing of the game suffered for it.

If you add more polish to the gameplay I'm sure this'll be a great game! :)

Thank you for your feedback! Indeed, my team mates did a great job. The textures and music are truly amazing, fitting well together as well. I agree, the game could need some polishing.

Very cool and well done for the first Godot project! Art and sound is really nice and I like the idea of playing the claw game to assemble a robot.

But I think the claw could use a little finetuning. I felt like Squidward in that one Spongebob episode, where he tries his best at the claw machine, but it just won't work lol. But maybe I just need to git gud.

Anyway, great job for a week! Well done!

Cheers, see you on the next one.

Nice concept and very appealing visuals. I think the gloomy yellowish colors and music match amazingly well. And all the little animated bits, just adds to the whole thing a lot!

I did struggle with controls though and honestly didn't manage to complete the whole thing. Picking up parts just seemed quite hard for me, perhaps it would be a bit easier if buttons for opening and closing the claw were closer together (I use ENG keyboard).

Good job overall, and if this is your first Godot project, wow! Looking forward to seeing more :)

Thank you for your elaborate feedback! I absolutely agree. The artists did an amazing job. I also think the controls really need some polishing.

Merci! And I'm looking forward to making more :)
