If it helps, I can say that all the grandma puzzles are designed to be solved with only "shove" -- i.e. there is no need for delicate small pushes. And there is an easy mode which allows you just to work on one character, or you can skip levels with Ctrl+Shift+1/2/3/4/5. Cheers. :)
