Hey! sorry I will not be able to make another stream session but here’s some feedback.

  • The art is of good quality
  • Controls feel pretty good too. Didn’t have problems with the dialogue boxes I think. I expected to be able to shoot or attack, it looked like a twin-stick shooter.
  • the audio is alright, was a bit low volume on my end I think
  • Escape hotkey quits the game. I was trying to get to some settings to rebind to WASD. Please implement that and volume sliders in your next games. You can check out my solution there https://github.com/GodotWildJam/gwj-accessibility-scripts/tree/main/Motor/Basic/mappable-keys

Good job overall!

No problem, thanks for playing anyways!

Thank you for the advice. I used Escape to quit the game for faster debugging. Didn’t have time to add a menu. I also wanted to add a health bar and shooting (Which I will definitely do after the jam is over).

The art was nice and the movement was smooth. However it wasnt clear that attacking was an option and the player/enemies can act during text box so got into some weird situation.

Developer

Thanks. Yeah, I did add “V to attack” in the description, but yeah I can understand the confusion. I didn’t have much time left. Wanted to add a health bar as well. I will add it after the jam is over tho, when I update it.

a small nice game. I would recomend to put some outline around the hero if you want to improve your game

Developer

Thanks. I rushed to finish the game, but I do plan to update it later on. Thanks for the feedback.
