Fun game! The movement's good and the background is nice. I just like to mention some things about the game which I thought could be improved on.
The little cube on the marshmallow looks a bit odd, although I understand that's to make sure the player knows which side is the front.
Some sound effects and music would add a lot to the game.
The main menu doesn't adapt to fullscreen, it would look a lot nicer if it did.
You have to jump onto the wooden ramp at the beginning of the game, it would feel better if you could just walk up it.
Overall, nice work!
Nice job I wish the player snapped to the platforms but that's just me being wishful :)
the movement was nice (good work there) and te same goes for the camerar. The artwork is nice and simple.
Here is something you could improve on:
1: There should be a spot underneath the char so you can see where you will land (see how they did it in super mario 64).
2: There should be some more background and ground instead of just white
3: Some background music and SFX would help
3D platformers are quite rare to see in jams, so it's cozy just to see a game in my favourite genre :)
The colors used contribute nicely to the cozy feeling, and gameplay is overall nice.
I found it a bit hard to gauge where I'm landing during the last segment. Having shadow directly under player, or being to able to position camera higher on top of player would make it easier.
This was a fun little platformer - I did find myself struggling with the moving platforms since it was almost like a conveyer belt and I ended up yeeting off almost every single time. I really enjoyed the controls though, the camera on mouse movement was really smooth . This was a fun start and I'd be keen to see if it develops more outside the jam :)
