This is great. It's a pretty simple yet fun game with charming visuals and sound. I love the CRT aesthetics and that general old-school vibe. I hope you continue to work on this. You could add different themes, environments, castles, difficulty modes, maybe some kind of a reward system if you're feeling ambitious.

One minor thing I'll comment on is that all the characters have the same lines. It's not a big deal but I think if they had their unique lines it would add a little bit more charm.

Overall, a really solid effort. Nice job!

A roguelike Age of War... It's a great idea, I'll write this down. Anyway, amazing work on your game, it's very charming and polished. It has an amazing potential if you expand this, and I do hope you do just that. I encountered a minor issue in the UI, I was playing with the elf dude, and one of my upgrades (it had a sword icon) had it's text displayed as "Text 3", and it persisted for almost the entire run, I don't know if this is an issue with the elf only, for I have not encoutered this problem with other characters. Also the CRT shader is a very nice addition, but the lines (the sine ones) on it were very distracting, maybe make them just like normal scanlines and make the rouded screen effect with just a vignette.

Amazing job!
