Figured out what I was doing in terms of the basics, but once I saw the "shiny" in the window, I had no idea what to do with that information.
Competently done, but I could have done with there being a shiny in an easy spot to start with. Or maybe there was, and the flashlight just made me miss it.
I really like the flashlight mechanic, it really adds to the moodiness of the game. For some reason I thought I would be able to deter the rats with it and accidentally die a few times before I realize the rats aren't afraid of my flashlight at all lol. Pixel art is lovely done and I quite like the scenery. Music is simple but nice and add to the ambience, feels like you could use a few more sound effects when the player gets kill or when selecting or pressing a button in menu. The options menu is a nice touch and always appreciated. I wasn't able to get far as I kind of sucked at sneaking around but the game looks and feels very nice.
I really like how this game looks! Having to use the flash light to look around is really cool. I do think it's a bit too difficult at the start, though!
I like the art style, but feel the starting area is a bit harsh and it took quite a couple of attempts to get past it
