Game Description
Escape the troubles of the world in this simple and chill indoor terrarium. As a senior botanist the team is counting on your knowledge of alien flora to find useful concoctions for their own research. Your job is to oversee the growth and harvest of extraterrestrial plants. You'll turn them into elixirs, potions, and tinctures whenever the research team needs. Controls: All mouse except for ESC to leave the crafting menu!
How does your game tie into the theme?
We took escape to mean an escape from reality, and created a simple, abstract plant growing and potion crafting game.

Nice chill game but I would have loved to have a cheat sheet of what potions do … or at least a list where after I unlock a potion (discover it) it tells me what it is and how to make it as I had by the end a list of 20 requests, 3 potions and I had to drag them over each slot to see if they would be accepted.
The game looks pretty good from art, music and cover image. I personally think that this is an amazing game but when I played the game, I don't know what to do in the game. A tutorial would help so much.
Although I understand that you had very less time.
Not really my cup of tea though it certainly transmit a chill vibe.
I really miss a tutorial!
Very nice, relaxing game. I'm not sure how it matches the theme though.
It would be nice to have a recipe list accessible somewhere, but I suppose experimenting and finding out on your own is also fun for some players :)
The game is really nice but would benifit from a tutorial, the art and sfx are perfect though
The game is very interesting idea. The music is absolutely gorgeous and the art is definitely pretty good as well! I think the two main problems would be that I don't know how to play and the game is unplayably laggy. I am given almost no instruction whether it be a tutorial, text or button prompts to know what to do. I don't exactly understand what I am doing in the game as there isn't text at least that I can see that tells me what the items I have do or how to use them. On top of that, the game is obscenely laggy. This may be a bug that is obstructing things that I am supposed to see or use to understand but the game is extremely laggy to the point that I wasn't really able to figure out what to do very well. One example in particuler is that I don't know what those green pellets are but when I choose it and click on the screen they kind of just spawn everywhere. Overall, it's a really interesting concept though!
Hey thank you so much for the feedback! Especially happy the music and vibe hit home and the concept has potential.
I definitely think if we had another day we could have put more polish in but unfortunately didn't quite have the time at the end! But I hear your feedback on the lag and the lack of instruction for sure. Totally right, there. We've noticed already some people experience lag on the browser version and some don't, while our own .exe's we've made have run perfectly fine for some reason too.
Thanks again for the feedback and for playing! Hope you had a good time with the jam and good luck! :)
